An In-Depth Look at HB 837

Course Description and Agenda:

This seminar will discuss how HB 837 changes the landscape of Florida tort law, focusing on the new modified contributory negligence scheme, the presentation of medical damages at trial, and the changes to Florida’s common law bad faith cause of action.  The speakers will also discuss strategies for overcoming these new legal hurdles and maximize a tort victim’s recovery.  The speakers will start promptly at 6 p.m. and will present for 2 hours, with Q&A at the end, time permitting.
