TBTLA will be holding a judicial forum for all judicial candidates running

As the August election nears, many of your friends, neighbors and family will be asking you, as a lawyer, who they should vote for. That happens in every single election cycle . As lawyers, we have a broad reach when we interact with others about the law and how the legal system works. Even more so when our opinion is sought about the quality of the judiciary and who should be supported. More so than your opinion about any other candidate running for any other State or Federal office, your opinion about which judge to vote for in August will carry special and unique weight.

The Judicial Forum is split into three days so the forum does not go too long each day. The format will be to have each candidate in a contested race give a short presentation and for each candidate to then answer a few questions. The questions will be solicited from you prior. We will then move on to the next contested race for the process to repeat. Each day should last no more than about an hour. CVs and election materials willl be provided by the candidates, in advance of the forum.
